Daniela Arboleda Rosati is an ECUADORIAN artist in love with color, painting is her passion since she was 5 years old. Inspired by color al through out her life, her work is the result of continuous persistent chromatic studies from pigment to light. “My mix media consists in traditional old school techniques, as well as industrial modern ones. Starting from the basics, graphite and eraser on paper, watercolor and pencil, Chinese ink, acrylic & oil paint. Opposed to alternative materials such as permanent ink, acrylic & oil markers, nail polish and spray paint. Synthetic, car paint, varnish and floor lacquer. Our own recipe.” Today, DArboleda is one of the permanent artists exhibiting at Cevor Gallery of Latin American Art, in Coral Gables, Miami. “ In her recent series of paintings titled Bipolar Creatures, Daniela Arboleda has created an imaginary world where the preconceived notions of reality do not exist. Where new combinations of animal, color, form, and light are allowed to move beyond their physical limits and to be free of the rational mind. The fantastic creatures she creates remind us that when we free ourselves of rational thinking we open ourselves up to the discovery of new ideas, new sensations and to a new understanding of the limitless possibilities of the world around us.“ Scott Ashley, curator and director of Cevor Latin American Art
