A few words about me: I was born, grew up and spent most of my life in Poland. I went through the cogs of the educational machine and studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. I graduated as a "painter" in the classic sense of the word, although I am not limited to one discipline. I also work with sculpture, animation, multimedia and drawing. Where do I get my inspiration from? There is no rule: a movie watched, a book read, a story heard on the news, a work of art or an intriguing conversation. It could be in the ordinary - something observed whilst shopping, or in the extraordinary. A moment captured on a beautiful cloudless morning, leaning against a tree, closing my eyes and warming myself in the spring sun. I might ask myself: wouldn't it be good to grasp such a feeling and share it with the whole world? There is no definite story in each of my works. If you ask me what I mean by every piece, I won't be able to answer in a few simple sentences. But if I had to sum up, I would say that I live and try to share my experience with others. It may sound banal, but it's the closest to what I try to embrace in my art.
