Zahra Nazari received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the School of Art & Architecture, Tabriz, Iran in July 2007.
She is currently living in New Paltz, NY.

Her work has been shown internationally, both in Italy and Iran, her country of birth. In the United States, her work has been exhibited in Cincinnati, Ohio, Chicago, Illinois, Sherman Oaks, CA, Brooklyn, NY, Newark, NJ, Portland, OR, Memphis, TN, Munhall, PA, and Park City, UT.

She was an artist in residence at The International School of Painting, Drawing & Sculpture, Umbria, Italy and Kimball art Center, Park City, Utah in summer 2012. She is the recipient of a grant from the Vermont Studio School in Johnson, Vermont for Summer Art Residency 2013.
