About

I was born on a Kibbutz in Israel in the fall of 1963. I began painting at the age of thirteen, and attended the ‘Avni Institute of Fine Arts’ from 1982 until 1984 when I left to fulfill my mandatory military service requirement in the Israeli armed forces. I have been living in New York since 1995 at which point my aesthetic focus shifted to photography. My work was featured in Altered States, a group show curated by the artist and curator Jon-Paul Villegas (June 2009), It's Not From Here, a solo exhibition at the Shala Yoga House on Broadway (Sept. 2010), baker does zen, a solo exhibition at Christopher Henry Gallery (May/June 2010), Views From The Real World, a solo exhibition @ EB&Flow Gallery, London (November 2011),I live and work in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, NY.
