I am a French man, 41 years old.
I used to paint since I have been young.
But I heard “Work first, you will paint after…”
So I do, working, but with curiosity and creativity first… and I became an industrial designer. Great job which makes me develop many products.
12 years ago, luck placed a colour company on my way. I worked for it for creating new brushes and wooden set collections, and then I study marketing and became the marketing manager of this artist material company.
This does not give more time for painting…
But I continued painting a little bit, outside, watercolour, sometimes.
Trying also the product the company manufactures.
Two years ago I decided to have a small room where I can paint week-end. I add windows at the balcony and it became the smaller studio of the world but my place, where I can paint.
Since then I search my art.
Firstly I 've done what I used to do, figurative landscape, seaside, lovely but in a way an unsatisfying paint.
Then it becomes more expressionist, better, but in fact, not thoroughly matching my thoughts.
Abstract is up to me certainly much more interesting paint to do. It means to stop painting with eyes, painting with the head.
Since I do, searching, painting has become a very enthusiastic experience, difficult to explain.
More I do abstract, more I ask myself if I will never find the art I search :
