Tu Mazu. Born in Rome, June 24th 1973.Live in Rome and Paris. I'm interested in two things, Art and People.the rest is just an optional.To the question "What would you like to do in your life?" he answered when he was 8 years old "the painter or the thief". "In a way I feel to do both thingsI paint "stealing", to myself and to other people who surrounds me, the most intimate truth that we rarely can't discover in surface". My works born from my experiences, from my state of mood, from a feeling and above all from the necessity to express all what i can't communicate with words, from the uncontrollable desire to know the most intimate part of my personality and personality of all the people i meet, from the necessity to give back images of the deepest thoughts.

Gratued in Interior Design but far from artistic studies, in 2000 born a true love for contemporary art, but just as an observer , until to demonstrate itself in 2004 in active way after radical changes in his life and after a travel to New York City, fundamental for the decision to dedicate himself to the painting that he started in self-taught way .In NYC he fell in love with works of artists of leading importance like Robert Rauschenberg, Mark Rothko, Julian Schnabel and J. M. Basquiat. He also approached to other European artists like Anton Tapis, known at artistic level in a travel to Barcelona always in 2004, and Alberto Burri.
It is born Tu Mazu, name that did part of a project for a brand of design with his older brother, but that once he used to sign his first painting it is remained on every work.
