Ton van Zantvoort is an international awarded independent filmmaker from the Netherlands. He creates art, short films and creative documentaries. His films are typified by the language of intimate images, a poetic structure and enormous involvement. Van Zantvoort observes with great attention and takes us into a world of people who try to survive but are confronted by external powers as tourism, international commerce and mass communication. His work has been exhibited at more than hundred festivals and exhibitions around the world and has been awarded 14 times already.
