Param Tomanec's practice is looking into visual poetry. He has gained experience with a variety of films, from 35mm to 5x4 large format photography and is also highly skilled in the digital domain. Param absorbs himself in every stage of the image creation.
In 2008 Sri Chaitanya Prema Sansthana institute in Vrindavana (India) honoured Param with recognition as Artist-in-Residence. The Institute hosted photographers such as Fazal Sheikh, Robert Polidori, Paul Wakefield and Robin Beeche among many others. Since 2009 Param is also Artist-in-Residence at the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies, a Recognised Independent Centre of the University of Oxford, through which he publishes his work. Param's still and moving pictures are used at Universities across the world for courses on Indian life, culture and art.
Param is currently completing a self-financed digital film entitled RASA YATRA.
