Thomas Hammer is an artist based in New York City. He earned his B.S. in Design and Environmental Analysis at Cornell University. He later moved to New York City to pursue his artistic ambitions while working as an Interaction Designer at advertising agencies throughout the city. His abstract work is both energetic and optimistic. He engages his audience through experimental technique and by seeking a balance between pattern and chaos. While he emphasizes process, his work is spontaneous and based on intuition.
