A basic description of the term: “Divine Mania” is a state of being where a person is inspired by a God, a Muse or one’s own personal Daemon; the Divine expressing itself through a person. A state commonly found in many artists.
I consider the Human Imagination to be a form of the “Prima Materia” and a means for expressing hidden worlds. Imagination is capable of so much more than we often give it credit for. My artworks can be both terrifying and beautiful, but many are telling important stories based upon influences such as: Myth, Magick, Alchemy, folklore and history.
Throughout my artwork I am most comfortable with the uniting of opposites. Making the circle whole, through the confluence of light and darkness. I do as I have always done, I make creations which are honest to myself first and foremost.
“Don’t battle your demons, perfect them.”
