Tamsin Bridge lives in Cornwall, UK. She has been painting and exhibiting professionally for many years. Tamsin's work can be found in private collections both in the UK and abroad.
Tamsin's illustrative watercolours are highly sort after. Work is painstakingly intricate, taking many hours to achieve. The paintings depict her imaginative subjects entwined in sinuous tracery and often overlaid in gold leaf. They have a cerebral and enchanting feel. Literature, especially poetry and fairytale, serve as constant sources of inspiration - as does simple reflection while walking, listening and dreaming.
Tamsin Bridge places much importance on fine detail and colour in her work. ''Essentially I am exploring my responses to the simple everyday events that I encounter- the undercurrents; background moods created by internal and external influences - stormy weather, leaves rustling, how laughter feels, the twist in a tale, the magic in a voice, my tears, another's joy, or a bird singing perhaps.''
