Nikos and Pandelis Sotiriades, sculptors, draw their origin from Crete and Trebizond of Black Sea. They are in sculpture from 1985. They work with various materials, combined in multiple ways, such as forged iron sheet, casted metal, glass, stone, marble, neon light, fire, polyester. Skilled in forging metal sheets and joining them like a puzzle, they create large scale works, like the ‘Abduction of Europe’, placed at the entrance of European Parliament in Strasbourg.

The shape and form, but also the themes of their works compose an original mixture of mythical, ancient and contemporary reality. So far they have done 6 individual exhibitions and have participated in group exhibitions held in Museums and other public places. The first water-born sculpture exhibition in Greece in 1993 had been their goal. Works of theirs can be found in Sotiriades Gallery in Heraklion, as well as in Internet.
