WHAT IS SHOWDOWN?

Welcome to Showdown, an online competition where artists can showcase their work and go head-to-head with other artists, giving the winner a chance to display their art at the Saatchi Gallery in London.

PRIZES

1st Place

The winner will receive US $1000

2nd Place

The runner up will receive US $500

The winning works will go on to display at the Saatchi Gallery in London.

HOW IT WORKS

First Round (General Voting)

All valid submissions will be randomly paired together. Anyone with a Saatchi Online account is able to participate in the voting. Three hundred works will advance to the second round based upon the votes garnered.

Second Round (Juried Voting)

A jury selected by Saatchi Online will review the 300 works advancing to the second round and will select 30 works to advance to the finals.

Final Round (Judge)

A judge selected by Saatchi Online will select the 1st and 2nd place winners of Showdown.

ARTWORK SUBMISSION RULES

  • Art must be in the genre specified to be eligible
  • Art must not have been submitted to a previous Showdown or any other Saatchi compeition
  • Must be an original work currently for sale on the Saatchi site (requires proof of ID)
