I started painting very yound and learned a lot from attending Paris drawing workshops and going to the Sorbonne art plastique courses. Then I travelled a lot and started also working in international business. This gave me a wider view of the world and the opportunity to improve my paintings by learning from my trips. Once returned in France, I first had a son and spent some years looking after him. I first returned to my pencil drawings and then started again painting . Although I still love oil painting, I discovered another way of painting with acrylic painting and enjoy using either medium.
I have been painting intensively the past few years, but being also a manager of a holiday place I have few contacts within the painting world in France . I was last given the opportunity to show a good number of my paintings in the Normandy Barriere Deauville (easter 2011). I enjoy taking subjects from real life and transfering them into the world I created over the years. Even when painting animals, I enjoy working on the subject on a world with little connection with reality.
Here is a text a French artist, Serge Perkowsky, wrote about my painting.
The translation reads:
An afternoon at Aude Sarkozi's place
Once upon a time, there was a delicious haven of the planet Avalon on Blangy on which was erected a beautiful cottage surrounded by flowers uppercase. In the shadow of a conifer accomplice, Aude Melusine and I share the joyous bitterness of a coffee. On the soft grass the ferret is playing with the cats and dogs of the house. The tenderness of the moment haloes bodies and souls of a peaceful harmony. At her easel, Aude takes their shape without a shadow, shields their cosmic and blue energy and suggests it on the canvas by stroking their contours. A malicious geometry defines the forms of animals, plants, celestial by interlocking the fairy space of the painting.
But what is happening there?
We are invited to gently penetrate the pictorial space and we are wandering with marvel in a poetic adventure .... …Read More
