I have a life long dedication to art, and a firm belief in the social power of the art’s to create positive change. Art has to be approached with an open mind, but opening one’s mind is no easy task. If just one piece of art succeeds in opening up just one persons mind then it is worthwhile and important.
My practice, even for me, is hard to define. I work in many different media’s and merge many different disciplines together, which brings a unique quality to my work and creates surprising and unexpected results.
My creativity will visit many different landscapes and take me on many strange journeys; it is constantly hungry and is fed on everything around me – creativity can be inspired and motivated by even the most mundane things. It shows me that there is beauty to be found in the every day routine of life. I believe it is my responsibility to reveal that beauty, to make people ri-think their environments.
Art has given me an alternative way to make my voice heard, and I hope that through art I will show others, also, another way to make their voices heard.
My intention is to create powerful art that expresses the many personal, social and global issues that motivate and affect me.
Minimal but filled with content.
