Rachel Page has been making songs for the past thirty years in Canada & Europe.

"Some people have said that my songs look like art, but having spent most of my creative life as a
singer songwriter I really know very little about visual art.
If songs are art, then art must be songs.

1956 Jackson Pollock dies, Art Tatum dies, Rachel Page born, Vancouver, Canada.
1959 London, England
1966 Present and survived Destruction in Art Symposium, London.
1967 Studied African drumming with Buster Bloodvessel (Ivor Cutler) Musical evenings with George Brecht and Robin on piano, vocals and beer, Leeds.
1968 Invited and attended Robin Page (father) performance Professor Protozoas Mini Majestic Bijou Road Show Yeah at
City of London Festival.
1969 Dishwasher-Daniel Spoerris Eat Art Restaurant, Dusseldorf, Germany. Met Robert Filliou.
1970 Lost balalaika in London, virginity in Paris.
1971 One-to-One master class with George Brecht, Cologne, Germany,
1973 Toronto, Canada.
1976 London, Ontario. Wrote first song.
1978 England.

1979 London, Ontario.
Recorded first demo 1980 Performed opening sets for Ian Tamblyn, David Essig, Mae Moore, Willie P. Bennett.
Met guitarist extraordinaire Thomas Handy.
1982 Married someone else. A complex case of mistaken nonentity. University and local club performances
1985 Studied Music Production, Fanshawe College with Jack Richardson - straight As.
1987 Graduated College. Found well paying job as Flake Inspector.
1989 Vancouver. Recorded 1st album,Fool For Love 1990 Original music for Buried West by Rick Lett, Vancouver Fringe festival. Co-produced three woman show at V.E.C.C. with Mae Moore & Marianne Grittani.
1991 1st English Folk Club Tour. Recorded 2nd album Chase The Blues at Bullfrog Studios.
1992 Calgary Folk Festival performances with Amos Garrett & the Eh Team, Rory McLeod and Dave Allen.
1993 England - 3 tours over 9 months.
1995 Vancouver East Cultural Centre Rachel Page & The Fabulous Big Band
1997 RP & The Darrells , RP & The
Groovedwellers. 1999 Worked with guitarist Jim Buddha Donnett.
2000 Reconnected with Thomas Handy after 19 years.
2003 Married right person. Performances in Toronto.
2004 Built music website.
2005 Released Live In Vancouver CD.

2006 Salt Spring Island, British Columbia.
