Born in essex in the 1950s, Robert loved to draw and paint from an early age and always wanted to be an artist.
At the age of 15 he and his parents emigrated to South Africa where Robert became an apprentice signwriter.
He continued painting and drawing as a hobby often using his artistic skills in his signwriting when he could get away with it.
The move to South Africa was the start of a 30 year adventure travelling around the world, as signwriting gradually became more of a hobby and art became more the mainstay.
Robert has artworks in private collections, corporate offices, casino's and his works have been shown in galleries round the world.
During a 10 year period in the United states working mainly in Las Vegas he produced large murals and artwork for many of the major casino's.
He is now back in the UK working on paintings to be shown in galleries and excepting private commissions.
