Dutch artist Iet Langveld creates narrative paintings which she hopes will "speak for themselves". Her greatest love and constant challenge as an artist is to capture a person or their surroundings and to tell a story through her paintings. Iet's work has been shown in many exhibitions, including at the Gemeentemuseum in the Hague, the Van Abbe Museum in Eindhoven and the Nederlands Institut boor Beeld en Geluid in Hilversum. She also participated in a Dutch television show entitled 'Stars at the Canvas' in which she painted a portrait of Guus Hiddink which won the show's competition.
