Margarita Kazanovich was born in 1976 in Soviet Kazakhstan and now lives in Hamburg. She began taking photographs with her grandfather’s camera when she was very young. The arrival of digital photography changed her perception of the medium and she embraced its new processing techniques and the unlimited artistic opportunities digital photography offers. This work, entitled 'Mirage', captures a hazy summer's day on a beach by the North Sea. The photograph is mounted on aluminum and ready to hang.
