Tom Deacon was born in Lincolnshire, England. He moved to Australia with his family when he was 2 years old and grew up in south-east Queensland.

His artistic endeavours manifested themselves in early childhood through an avid interest in comics and a love for fantasy films like The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth and Legend.

Over time his creative output has evolved from intricate fantasy paintings and whimsical designs into a form of urban expressionism that incorporates a combination of traditional methods and various digital techniques.
