Born in Newport wales 1962. A bit of a gypsy travelled and moved around alot. I went to Lytham St Annes High School and later (after a 6 year gap) Lancashire University to do Fine Art. While teaching at Durham College I completed a Masters in Fine Art at the University of Northumbria in 1998. I recently moved to the New Forest in Hampshire and have a purpose built studio( large shed with windows) I am a landscape painter and seek my inspiration from walking and travelling. I am interested in creating a sense of place, so light and different types of weather form the ideas. I use oil and mixed media, integrating fragments of collage and print into the painting.
