All of my work is based around those elements of ideas and perception that I am interested in at any one time. As a result of this, my work has been manifest in many different forms. My use of; media, spatial dimension, manner and manifestation of the work are driven by the concept and how to explore this in an expressive philosophical context. The work here represents a small sample of the range of pieces currently being developed. I will be presenting more on a dedicated web sight soon. Both these sites and others will be kept up to date as work develops.
I view my practice as a visual method of language exploration concerning definition. Therefore, I would say that I test and question theory through visual language in two, three, four dimensions and electronic media. This is in an interdisciplinary referential context across art, science and philosophy. I absorb employ and explore metaphoric vehicles to enable my journey through my investigation. These are sometimes basic generic elements or systems which I feel harbour structural relationships which when deconstructed or subverted, can offer changes or shifts of significance. My method of determining, bringing together physical elements, with an internal search for links between invention and manifestations in the world, can often encompass paradox or divergent conjunctions.
