CITY OF LIGHT is a contemporary pop surrealist art project, inspired by the city life's and consumer society.
It represents the controlled society, illusions created to trap people from their true existences. Artworks made by collaging digital photography of hand-built 3D models of towers, buildings, lights, made from legos in an effort to imitate consumption, love of money, power etc... and our light filled colourful digital society as it keeps on amusing us with its glamour. CITY OF LIGHT is about the egocentric society and separation in the way to find the unity and true human natures. The human beings being represented as toys as their souls being lost, in various shapes. But as though it is depressing subject it is luminous, playful and colourful like the illusion the cities gives us all. But there is a hope and at the top of the image shows a flip-side and there another toy figure, hanging in the moon united with the creator.
