After a long career in design consultancy I am dedicating time to my love of collage.

Inspired by the book “The home Altars of Mexico” together with roadside shrines, temples and churches I have seen in various parts of the world, I decided to create a series of pieces which pay tribute to the many visual manifestations of worship. They embrace all kinds of beliefs, often at the same time - and not just religious. The project includes all kinds of acts of devotion. The more I produce, the more I appreciate the ingenuity people display in constructing their own ‘doorways’ to worlds beyond. From the largest cathedrals to the corner of the kitchen, via the roadside, it’s the human race’s largest depository of visual art.
