Born in Pancevo, Serbia in 1980, lives and works in Timisoara, Romania. Permanently preoccupied by the frustrating position of individual towards mass and frequently engaged in effecting change in collaboration with different NGOs.I see my work as an instrument which seeks to change and shape the individual, society and the world we inhabit in a close relation with the present reality, permanently affected by it. Art is for me the possibility of actively engaging in protest, underlining the aspects of present day reality that need to bee modified, thus my projects often concern environmental and human rights issues.
I am preoccupied by complex of identities found in oneself and existing social tensions. Motivation to work is often offered by the sentiment of revolt using art as an incisive deconstruction tool. Actively engaged through my art, I am defined by subversion towards corporative political environment, frequently protesting against it. Art is for me the way to actively engage myself in protest and highlight issues of present day reality that need to be altered, so my works often reveal a concern with environmental issues or human rights violation.
