For me a painting can start from an emotion, a dream, another painting, another artist, a color, a person, a landscape, a picture.

It is not only the final result but a kind of journey. An introspective exercise largely made of mood, intuition, energy, gestures, experiences and as a diary it preserves a memory of all the complexity involved at the time

A "finished" painting, offers then a chance of viewing back, remember, share, contemplate, understand, move forward
