Annelise is a professional artist with over 30 years artistic experience. Sometime after a degree in History of Art she did a Masters in Fine Art which transformed her from a representational artist to an abstract artist transforming realism. Most of her paintings are oil on canvas but watercolour , pastels , drawings, monoprints and other prints influence these canvases either as preparatory work or as individual works. She describes herself as an intuitive colourist using line and colour to investigate the mystery of reality

2012 Role – running workshops on ‘Understanding Abstract Art’ and ‘Understanding Colour’ at the North Middlesex Hospital for Undergraduate students and staff.
