About

My work is framed in the Judeo-Christian idea of guilt and expiation, to take it to an esthetic experience. Pain, passion and sacrifice take part of my relationship with the mystery of being alive; the supreme path of purification from a cultural and mystical angle.

I am interested in people and places that have had in some way affected my beliefs or a transcendent effect in my life. I try to get materials that could reference the space were my memories place them; a door that I knocked on to see a girlfriend, the table or wall where I was punished at. Mediums that remind me of the place where I was when the specific event occurred. I try to rethink the circumstances of the moment to relive the experience from the realm of my memory, leaving the organic traces of it. I also use video to complete the experience and to achieve a mystical connection with the observer.
