Born in Swansea in 1952 and raised by a family of artists, craftsmen and musicians, it was a natural step for me to study art & design at university. However a brief period (25 years!) of distraction followed my graduation, as I followed career in arts & heritage management. Now I'm back on track and enjoying the creative freedom bestowed by semi-retirement!Swansea and the Gower peninsula have been both home and inspiration for my art & designs. The themes for my work derive from the natural history, flora and fauna of the sea and coastline.
