I am now 41 years old, I was born 1968 in Essex. I attended a convent boarding school and had my first child aged 20. I have a strong bond with nature and an inexhaustible craving for knowledge of animals and creatures and this features heavily in my work. .

I have always been an artist. I always will be an artist. I paint and stone carve and have lately picked up a camera and now find enormous satisfaction creating images for large spaces using in depth studies of small, beautiful objects. I am particularly interested in plumage at the moment. I find the variety and diversity of colours as well as the the fascination with the form and function of the feather irresistible.
