In 2010, I started my art path by creating digital art only. This involved manipulating photographs that I had taken and morphing them into something completely different. I still do some of that with a few photos but I have moved my main artistic focus to paint brushes, palette knives and acrylics and straight forward photography.
In the years ahead, I plan to learn and create in oil and other mediums; in order to express my creative visions in the best possible manner that entails learning new skills.
I owe my ongoing passion for art to:
those that encouraged me in my early days:
a small studio in Grand Rapids, Michigan who invited me to show my art during Art Prize 2010 and The Amway Grand Plaza who invited me for ArtPrize 2011;
The folks at the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art in Shawnee who are constantly in my corner and who promote the Arts in Shawnee though various events like Arts Trek and 'Off The Wall';
The numerous Art Galleries, including the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, in Glasgow, Scotland which provided free admission and world class art while I was growing up;
My Parents and Family for encouraging me; and Last but most importantly...
YOU!! for liking my art. It is for You that I create. …Read More
