About

04. 07. 1983, Budapest
I'm a painter beetween geometric and organic style.

I often look upon painting a game with logical results, but as apainter I cannot afford to have pictures that are completely calculated and mechanically exicuted. My method of making a painting is informed by principles similar to those of a game. Starting with a patch or a line, the picture often assembles itself of its own accord.Ive always liked the tools of comics and graffiti the way they represent what can only be suspected, like invisibility or force fields. It was from them that I borrowed the motif of the dashed line, which allows me to convey information whose existence the viewer is conscious of, but whose physical perception would be impossible (like you cannot see laa edges of a cube at the same time).
Repetitive motifs reinforce one another and suggest stability. A well-placed shape is stable like a monolith.
In most of my painting experiences I use free association to arrive at as complex conceptual realitionships as possible. I like to compare and adapt conceptual and technical results. I usually go from basic forms towards more complex ones, rather than the other way around. I set out from a simple arch or tunnel motif to arrive at a wavy line, from a single cube at repeating Rubics Cubes that grow out of themselves.
