Reto Steiner's sculptural interventions are reproductions of nature and thereby refect the alterations by human intervention. The sculptural objects provide evidence of genetic and manipulative interventions. His location-specific works are superbly detailed fragments of man-made intrusions in the landscapes. The reproductions amaze by their materiality and their ability to mystify the viewers.
