I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. I have a Master Degree in English from Moscow Linguistic University. I love linguistics but so much more I'm drawn to the language of self-expression through painting. I've always painted and taken art courses throughout my life, yet I would describe my art as mostly self-taught. Kandinsky art had a profound effect on me when I was growing up. I researched healing powers of colour and energy when I was taking my Wholistic Therapy Diploma at Calgary Wild Rose College of Natural Healing. I worked as a graphic designer for the government and ran my artist studio in downtown Calgary. I've done a lot of commission art work which is fun; still my preference creating my own work which for me means being alive.
