Sheila Saffe was born in General San Martín, Mendoza, Argentina, on April 2, 1985, and her incursion into the world of the arts began as a child with drawing and painting classes.
She studied Architecture in the University of Mendoza, where she developed the ability to draw freehand sketches using techniques like watercolor and color. She got a degree in Architecture with a formation in Landscape Planning.
She expanded into “Digital Art” in 2009, in which she continues up to the present, although in her career as an artist there are also works in oil, watercolor and pastel chalk. Sheila defines herself as an emergent and avant-gardeartist, constantly searching for and exploring new creative processes. With her works, she is able to transmit that unique pictorial warmness which enhances the expressiveness of her art. Using the strength of colors and the fluidity of her treatment of space, she creates utopian landscapes, especially mountain or rural ones. Her recognition abroad came especially through Art on Fashion, an English fashion company which chose two of her works for its 2013 Spring-Summer collection designs.
