Ilias Zaimis was born in Athens (Greece) in 1983. A descendant of the historic Zaimis family and the youngest of three children of Helena Zaimis.
The artistic family environment acted as a catalyst in boosting the talent, from his childhood, in design and in painting, participating in several children's competitions…
He has taken undergratuate courses in Industrial Design at Sivitanidios Public School of Arts and Crafts (Athens) and Editorial Styling - Curating Photography at Central Saint Martins College (London) and he has completed his postagraduate studies in Philosophy and History of Art at Vorgia College in Athens.
He has worked as a gallery coordinator at the Breeder Gallery and SIX D.O.G.S multipurpose space. Ilias lives in Athens and works as an exhibition curator at Rooster Art Space.
