Every piece she creates allows Stephanie to learn and grow as an artist. Preferring to work in oil paints, although also adept with oil pastels and acrylics, she is able to capture the striking beauty of light on a landscape. For most of her work, Stephanie chooses to work with palette knives as they allow her to bring texture and depth to her canvass.
Stephanie normally works with a theme or topic in mind; however, commissions also form part of Stephanie's portfolio, from landscapes to treasured pets. In October 2010 Stephanie was invited to donate a piece of her work for auction at a charity event held by the Nordic Club of Geneva. Her 'Summits' exhibition was held on May 6th 2011 and was a resounding success. She is currently showing in Nanuq Gallery, Verbier (Switzerland).
Stephanie was born and raised in Cardiff, Wales and has also lived in London, Cambridge and Geneva, Switzerland. She currently lives in the UK with her husband and dog.
Stephanie was educated at the University of Wales, studying Environmental Health. She worked in this field until her husband's work brought them to Switzerland. This change of environment and way of life meant Stephanie was able to rediscover her passion for painting.…Read More
