Many contemporary art practices concern looking and observing, and the challenge then becomes how to construct that vision. Consistent throughout all of my art projects is construction as a process – whether the end result resembles what was looked at or observed (e.g., the human form). That construction process can involve classical drawing techniques or contemporary media, and is a tribute to the challenge of representing nature and the human form amongst so many contemporary artistic practices.
