Alive and he works to Vico Equense (NA). From 1958 it participates in the national artistic life taking part to numerous demonstrations and getting important prizes. Its work is in partnership to a certain type of surrealism, "for that so much that surrealism today can exist still." (Helium Mercuries)
Environments, things, landscapes of the soul, oniric situations, reflected vanished, perceptions of the space and intuitions of the spirit, are the contents of the works of Bavenni.
From the figurative one to the abstract passing for the informal one, the feeling of the Nature redefines the confinements of the existence in the decomposition of the plans where the vital pulsione penetrates in the subject and provokes the meeting with the self.

Con la maturit artistica di un grande Bavenni sprovvede e disarma losservatore. Attraverso una sorprendente scelta di elementi consueti e quotidiani rielaborati con destrezza ed efficienza, rinchiude la grandezza marina in una stanza, rielabora i paesaggi di Cezanne, appende ombrelli ed impermeabili a contrapposti appendiabiti. Sfidando la contemporaneit artistica individua alcuni punti di riferimento cardinali per la propria quotidianit e li contrasta abbinandoli, li affianca sfidando la grandiosit di ognuno. Unopera pittorica darte contemporanea astratta o figurativa. Con Bavenni i due campi si affiancano quasi a mescolarsi, le polarit combaciano: la figurazione si colora di cromatismi lancinanti e definiti atti a trascendere in avvallati tracciati astratti, dove termina il tratto figurativo si distende una profondit di sensi resa con curvilinei gesti astratti. Bavenni seduce e corrompe, incanta e affascina, ma non prova a bloccare losservatore davanti ai suoi quadri. Chi vuole rimirarli benaccetto, ma chi ha fretta non impedito in una ricerca dorientamento, colto dalla sua loquacit cromatica, dai suoi tratti quotidiani; inevitabilmente, quasi inconsciamente, si persuasi dal solo pensiero di avere davanti una autentica opera darte.
