German-born artist Ella Sarkisyan was surrounded by creative influences as a child. Raised by a family of artists, it was no surprise that Sarkisyan decided to attend the Studio Art School of Yerevan, Armenia. Sarkisyan continued her studies at Yerevan State University, where she received her Master of Fine Arts. Shortly after completing her studies, Sarkisyan began exhibiting her work around the world. After relocating to the United States in 1995, she began exhibiting her work at the Armenian Center of Contemporary Experimental Art, where she earned the respect of art collectors and critics. Sarkisyan has since exhibited her work in various art galleries across the United States, including the Harvest Art Gallery, the Hamilton Gallery in New York, and the Selkouth Fine Art Gallery.
