I never really plan a painting, when I do it always go by the wayside eventually and it's just the way I like it. Spontaneity is the key, colors flow into each other creating new colors or layered over then peeled to reveal or clash!
Mistakes are not favored but always welcome, usually changing the outlook of a painting to something totally different and surprising jogging the senses. It doesn't alway happens but a painting may sit for days, weeks, months or even years! Until one day I see what should be added, included or just scream into it! Then a smile.
I emigrated to The New York at the age of ten in the early 70's. Born in Paurt-au Prince Haiti I started drawing at the age of three, I recommend painting to everyone it's therapeutic!
