I grew up in Istanbul, a truly magical city where ancient meets modern, East joins West, Europe touches Asia.

I studied Art and Design at a specialist High School in Istanbul; than I changed direction and went on to study Public Administration in Ankara. I graduated from the Institute of Public Administration for Turkey and the Middle-East.
 
During my undergraduate years in Ankara, I continued to work with a local artist. I carved wooden sculptures in my spare times to relax.

I lived in Turkey, Bahrain, Brussels, Luxembourg and UK.
 
I believe that learning is a life long activity and experiences must be shared. That's why I still sometime join the Workshops in Royal Academy, work with the very sophisticated art masters some time work in a park under a big tree with the unknown artists from Africa to share their traditional stone carving methods and benefit from their experiences... I enjoy sharing my views with people; from time to time I write articles for a well known Turkish newspaper, Haber Turk.    

I continue to work with stone, wood and clay. I also enjoy drawing, painting and stained glass work.
