artist neale howells will be one of the quests on 'pitch' an arts based chat show featured and streamed live on cardiff radio http://www.radiocardiff.org this tuesday morning 20th september between 10am and 11am.
'it will be nice to get it all off my chest' coughs neale... what he means by this we dont know yet... so tune in this tuesday perhaps there'll be an answer..

Season two of Pitch is underway and the guests list is shaping up nicely. Confirmed so far are (and please forgive us if I mis-describe your oeuvre - we can clear that up on the programme!) painter Neale Howells, performance maker Gerald Tyler, 'alternative advertising' supremo, Gareth Daniel, Equity and WAPA's Chris Ryde, Wales' representative at the 2011 Venice Bienalle artist Tim Davies, sonic artist Matt Cook, photographer and editor of blown magazine Ric Bower, performance artist and painter André Stitt, arts management professional Mari Beynon Owen, Artstation's Glenn Davidson, Canadian performance maker Jacob Wren, musician and writer Clancy Pegg and artists Tiff Oben and Tom Goddard
the show goes out live from 10am to 11am on a Tuesday morning.
artist living and working in neath south wales...born neath south wales 1st august 1965 contining efforts to put wales at the top of creative practices... got back into film last year then combines it with the painting to produce animation.. enjoying working like this and on large pieces 12ft x 16ft... trying to do something different but believe there is no originality left... you always try and believe you work can compete on the international stage... will it..? well i believe so... i open my studio twice a week so people can come along and see contemporary art in construction... i see this as making the conection between gallery and viewer.. if wales is to sustain its art developments then it needs to gain a new audience.. hopefully this will help... … Read More
