Miriam Sweeney is an Irish artist who has based herself in the east coast of Dublin for the past 25 years. Prior to that, she had a monadic childhood that included living in Iran.
In 2OO9 she was short-listed for winner of DLR Visual Open Submission and earlier this year won a Saatchi Online Showdown Tournament.
Her work 'Subversion' has been chosen to be the representative image for this years Musica, 2011, Strasbourg - www.festivalmusica.org
