Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, I grew up in Zambia and spent several years in Britain and Ghana. I now reside in BC, Canada. I studied for a BFA at Rhodes University in South Africa under tutors Brian Bradshaw and Robert Brook, and completed 2 Courses in Ceramic Sculpture under Charles Gotthard.
My paintings have been exhibited and sold to internatioanl buyers from galleries in McGregor, Robertson, Pringle Bay, Muldersdrift Johannesburg, Bonnievale, Heidelberg, Stilbaai, Montagu and Swellendam. Paintings are currently hanging in Sikelela Art Gallery, Reflections of Montagu in South Africa; Art 'n Soul Gallery and Smithers Art Gallery in Smithers, British Columbia, Canada.
In the past I have signed my artwork with C.N. Robertson, Conoro, Conowi. From 2011 I will be signing it with Stanza.
When I lived in South Africa I was a member of the South African Society of Artists (SASA) and I was commissioned by the Australian Artist's Palette Magazine to feature my artwork and do a tutorial for the readers which was published in Issue 74 in 2009.
I will gladly accept commissions for landscapes, seascapes and butterflies, either from what I have already done or according the Client's specifications and requirements.
