They tend to be more (design) subjects than objects, not allowing themselves to be quickly classified or consumed. The true nature of their black glossy surface is only revealed over the course of time: At room temperature the material used floes slowly but endlessly and allows fascinating living shapes to form, which is somehow inherently unexpected and uncontrollable. The permanent element of change and the „YES!“ to their past as utility objects make Laura Jungmann´s works – over and beyond the design context – interesting and aesthetically sustainable.
