My art work does not take any view of social or cultural issues. It reproduces familiar visual signs as sunsets, dawns, mists, arranging them into new conseptual pieces. The main idea of my painting is to create a special visual substance that corresponds to human soul and thus is vital.
As my portfolio developed and people started to review my work and its descriptions started to emerge I began to notice a pattern that I am happy with at the moment. In many reviews my work has been labeled as the kind of painting that leads its viewers to a world of beauty and spirit.
I graduated from Serov Art School in 1982 and from The Muchina Academy of Art and Desighn, Saint-Petersburg,, in 1987.
