About
Cincinnati OH 1940 Currently, I am a full time artist, exhibiting solo, in competitions and with the group Wild Women Artists which I founded. I am an instructor at Middletown Arts Center part time.
I am fascinated by the grid that humans impose on the natural world. I feel that this grid reflects how we box up ourselves in tribes, countries, and other groups. I abstract this in many of my paintings.
I always have a reference to my feelings about the natural world in my mind. I associate certain pieces of music with some paintings. I like making accidental drips and then organizing them.
