Radar is Loughborough Universitys contemporary arts programme - hosting three seasons of work each year, the catalyst for each is a particular area of research or inquiry that is current and is being investigated by both artists and academics. Once identified, the themes act as a platform from which the issues and ideas can be explored through commissions, talks and symposia, films and other events that offer audiences a range of opportunities to engage with the concepts.
Radar is not confined to a particular location but inhabits a range of spaces across the University campus and town. The programme has a particular interest in working with artists whose practice explores the relationship between artist, environment and spectator.
