Education
STUDIES
She studied the art of painting at the school of Fine Arts in Athens, under professor Dimitris Mytaras, and set design under professor G. Ziakas. She has also studied psychology of education and teaching of art. She holds a first class degree.
In 1994, Paraskevi Gardeli joined the education staff of the Art Workshop of Chalkis where she undertook teaching in classes for children up to 2006. During that period, she spent four years tutoring in Holargos' Artistic Center on the same subject. In 2005, she undertook supervising of the Art Workshops of Volos for children, where she’s been attending ever since.
She participated in a research project held by the school of Fine Arts, under the supervision of D. Mytaras, regarding violence in the mass media, which led to the publication of the book entitled "The model of violence".

AWARDS
2001 The 11th International competition of children and youth art creativity “ALWAYS GREEN, ALWAYS BLUE”, for preparation of students’ art works set. TORUN – POLAND.

2005 The 13th International competition of children and youth art creativity “ALWAYS GREEN, ALWAYS BLUE”, for preparation of students’ art works set. TORUN – POLAND.
She has taken part in many evaluation committees regarding art works for children.
